Born and raised in this sweet little town of ours in Southern Pines, North Carolina. My husband Ryan and I have been married for twelve years, and we have three girls that are our absolute world.
If you knew me in high school, you knew I always had a camera in my hand and was the queen of the Facebook albums back in 2007 (major lol’ing over here). When my oldest was 6 months old, I decided to switch gears and instead of going to school to be a Nurse, I wanted to dive into Photography and make some extra income to stay home with my baby. Never in my wildest dreams did I think it would turn into what it has, and I’m so thankful it has allowed me to stay home for almost 12 years while still being able to contribute to our family.
What was just extra income and hobby, became a desire to capture someone’s story. I wanted to turn what was just an “ok 1,2,3 cheese!” picture and turn it into something MORE. I wanted my clients to feel these images. I wanted other people to see the emotion in them and go, “I want that, I want pictures like this”. I believe everyone deserves to have photos that tell a unique story. I want my clients to have images they can feel, the emotion in that phase of life…evenings where children are playing, where we can take what could be stressful for us mamas to plan and just go simply be in the moment and play. That’s the experience I hope to provide to all my clients.
